The Sinclair Elementary PTA is holding a garage sale on Saturday, February 4th from 8-12 under the campus black top that faces Ella. The garage sale will be advertised in the Leader. They are looking for donations to be dropped off at the school.  Also, they are offering tables for individuals to sell their own items by donating $10 for a table.

Afterwards, we will move rapidly into our Holiday Social feast. Please bring your appetites and a small dish to share.  If you are coming straight from work – forget the dish and come join the fun (our Hospitality Chair Jo Crawford brings the paper products).    We hope to see you there!

Lazybrook is a noted decorating, celebrating community and your Civic Club want to award the families with our yearly decorating contest and yard signs. Homes on both the north and south of 18th are eligible and all judged equally, but no businesses are allowed in the contest.  DECORATIONS UP / LIGHTS ON BY 7PM THURSDAY DECEMBER 13TH.

Thank you in advance to each of the families for the hard work required to make this a gorgeous Hanukkah/Christmas/New Years in Lazybrook.

Rules:

• Any home is eligible to win.
• If any home has won the same award 3 consecutive years, they cannot win in that category during the 4th year.  They are eligible for the Hall of Fame award the 4th year.

Judges: Melodie Matlock and Sharon Ettinger

Melodie will put up the winners signs as soon as possible after judging. Please leave your decorations up and on until Jan.1st, 2011.

National Night Out is a program sponsored by HPD to join neighbors together in an effort to “Give Neighborhood Crime and Drugs a Going Away Party”.

Lazybrook has traditionally had neighbors gather to get to know each other and share fellowship and snacks.

Please talk to your neighbors and block captain to plan your event for this year.

If your block is hosting a party please let me know because HPD would like to stop by and visit with as many neighbors as possible.
