It seems that our Kindergarten is already full for next fall. However, if someone lives in the zoned area for Sinclair they should definitely come to the Round Up and mention that they are zoned. We also have two English Pre-K classes that are expected to fill up fast like last year.
Warehouse Bar & Chill to Open on 11th Street
The upcoming bar and restaurant is looking to set itself apart with an expansive menu and creative lunch and dinner options served out of an unassuming warehouse. They’re still working on a pretty impressive, sprawling patio that should be ready to go before the high summer temps hit. Owner Charles Canales tells Eater that he hopes to also offer plenty of veggie dishes, salads and creatively flavored wings here, but that it’s the burgers that will be a highlight.

Mosquito Spraying in Lazybrook
In 2013 the Civic Club voted in favor to spray for mosquitos. The committee chose Cypress Creek Pest Control, a company that serves over 800 communities in the greater Houston area. Their vehicles are equipped with a ULV (Ultra Low Volume) fog generator designed and built by Cypress Creek Pest Control. Spraying began in June and concluded in early October. Spraying occurred once a week, typically on Thursday evenings. The spraying service is marketing as a mosquito control service, not elimination, which is important to keep in mind in managing expectations. For more information about the company and their mosquito spraying service, visit www.cycreekpestcontrol.com.
Update 2014: Voting to renew services with Cypress Creek Pest Control was approved at the March 28th, 2014 Civic Club Meeting. The civic club members also voted to create a fund that neighbors can donate to for the mosquito spraying to help defray costs.
Update 2015: Voting to renew services with Cypress Creek Pest Control was approved at the March 24th, 2015 Civic Club Meeting. The civic club members also voted to continue a fund that neighbors can donate to for the mosquito spraying to help defray costs.
